How to test CICS, MainFrame applications?

Hi,

Mainframe tester have the knowledge of testing , and mainframes knowledge is an additional advantage.Because you are going to test the mainframe application.

You need to know the navigations, job monitoring and checking the status of the jobs.

The testing process would be the same like other web based applications...

To test Mainframes CICS ( Black Box) there are tools.

1) Hiper station - Mainly used for Regression testing of CICS

2) Strobe ( Performance Testing)

3) Omegamon ( Performance Testing)

4) QTP
