Re: Adhoc Testing Test Case
Hi,
If you find a bug while doing Adhoc Testing following are the activities you should do:
1. You should add the new Defect for the Bug you have identified
2. In the description of the Defect you should mention the Module in which the defect occurs, and the nature of bug such as Functional defect or Deployment defect or Database defect etc.,
3. Should specify the Input data if any
4. You should mention the flow of activities which you have done for the bug to occur and also you should attach the snapshot of all pages or screens who have manipulated.
5. Seperate test cases should definitely written for the defect identified, which will be in use when the defect is fixed and it comes again for retesting. While retesting the defect you should retest the defect and also execute the Test cases written to ensure that the defect is still prevailing in the system or not. This is done as we are doing the Adhoc testing we will not be having the Test case which has the flow of activities how the functionality is tested
