Upload Defects in to Quality Center

    Hi,
Iam trying to upload defects from excel sheet in to QC.I uploaded 245 defects when i tried to upload remaining iam getting "Over Flow" error when i select more than 10 defects at a time.If i tried to upload 2 defects then they are getting uploaded. But its not fare to upload 2 defects at a time...as we can upload number of defects or testcases at a time. Can any one please suggest why iam getting this "Over Flow" error...

    Thanks
    Deepika

    Hi Deepika,

I guess the Overflow error has more to do with your machine configuration rather than anything amiss with QC upload.

As you rightly said, there is no limit to any specific number of Defects / testcases that can be uploaded at a time. But incase the number is too large for the Computer to handle in terms of Buffer Size, Memory allocation it would generally reflect a Overflow error message.

Can you try the upload process on anyother machine with higher configurations for RAM.

    Cheers...
