Bugzilla is a bugtracker tool developed and used by the Mozilla project and was released as open source software by Netscape Communications in 1998. Bugzilla has been adopted by a variety of organizations for use as a defect tracker for both free software and proprietary products. Bugzilla is licensed under the Mozilla Public License.
The functionality of the tool is same as other Defect management tools or the defect management provided by any of the test management tools. It also has the same Defect life cycle as others.
