how to get the caption of a window

hi all,

Please anybody can tell me how to get child window count. And also how to get the 'Window Caption' of the child window which is presently in focus.

Try the win_get_property.

Pass the Window_name and property to be fetched as parameters. Property could be Label which would be equivalent to Caption.

Thank you very much for ur concern Umesh Krishnan, but my qeustion is: In my application there are nearly 100 child windows, each window has some edit fileds blah blah........., i have to change all the edit fields.....,
Now my doubt is: i dont know which window will pop up, so as soon as a child window pops up i want to get the caption of that window and proceed next.

Please anybody can tell me the solution. Becuase its quite urgent.
