Continuing education continuing education will be required to ensure that certificate holders maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and professional capacity. Certificate holders will need to qualify for re-certification every three years after becoming certified. The re-certification provision will require forty hours per year of continuing professional education as specified by the certification board. Emphasis is on skill improvement, not specific programs. Learning experience can be at company site, through college programs, public and private seminars, conferences, and self-study programs. How to apply those meeting the requirements(two years of experience and proficiency in six skills) should complete and mail the certification application form along with the skills proficiency form with $175.00 fee to: quality assurance institute certification program manager 7575 dr. Philips blvd., suite 350 orlando fl 32819-7273 applications will be acknowledged within 60 days of receipt. A cste certificate will be issued within 30 days of approval.
