Oracle 9i database get stoped

why the oracle 9i database get stop and show out of network?

dear sir,

we have only one real time server on that we have whole oracle database set up the system is highly updated with 2GB RAM and 160 DUAL HDD with SINGLE CORE PROCESSORS with out any virus the same server we are using for backing up our database because we do not have any specific back up server is this set up may cause some excess load on our server and because of this our database get stop and show out of net work

But it should not stop the database. have you checked in the alert log file what message is coming there?

Try to run the database service and the listener services and check.
