Iteration is nothing but the no. of times you would like your script to run for different set of values. When you run the script with multiple iterations you will get results as per the iterations. Also that you will get as many results as the iterations you have.
In QTP, as part of data-driven testing, the same test case is run multiple number of times and each run is called an iteration. The test gets a different input for each iteration and may produce different output. The test reslts depend on the number of iterations for which the test case is run.
