can we parameterize the checkpoints? is the checklist files reusable in other scripts?

i am still learning testing tools. My doubt is
in winrunner user guide doc page no 307 explains how to parameterize a database checkpoint. But you answered as we can't parameterize a checkpoint. Is that the one you are talking about. Please correct me if i am wrong. Thanks

we can't parametrized checkpoints. Database parametrization is a different thing, you are parameterizing the data, not the database checkpoints.you add a check point(here you are talking about database checkpoint), okkk. But what if you not parametrized it, it's a checkpoint.you are not parameterized the checkpoint, it's data which parameterized, i think you got me.still any confusion feel free to ask.

You can certainly parametrize checkpoints.
Try in QTP. It is indeed possible.
Create a checkpoint. The properties of the checkpoints can be viewed at that time. You can see Constant field there. Click on the parametrize button. This holds true for any kind of checkpoints.
