Check contents in the menu

i have a file with sub menus, just like you get the file with internet explorer
Now I want to check whether the file contains all the contents in the menu as per the requirement. Can I automate the process? If so how. if it requires some descriptive programming can u please help me

I guess you can do it by changing web event configuration level to high.
TOOLS>WEB EVENT RECORDING CONFIGURATION>EVENT CONFIGURATION LEVEL(Set it to high).
