Thread: Desktop not appearing

My system is booting but not comes to desktop. Mine is windowsXP. How to fix this

What do you mean by booting but not comes to desktop ?
Are you getting the status bar ?

try to boot in safemode. Press F8 when ur system is booting, it will display a set of options. select safemode boot option in the list. select it and boot.
Now delete unnecessary files from ur system and then boot in normal mode.

if your os is not booting then your os files may be corrupted.....if you have any virus it will reboot again and again then u have to just format and reinstall the os...or else press f8 to go in safe mode while you the sys boots..
