    Language problem

My friend does not know foreign language but he was questioned in the interview whether he knew foreign language. If such questions are posed and if the person does not know the language how can one present the situation in a best manner?

If the requirment of knowing foreign language was mandatory or must for that position then I would suggest that while applying itself one must make note of such things. But if this was optional the person could answer such questions in the interview as they are ready and have quest to learn new things and language and would definetly do the best if given a opportunity to learn the language.

    hi

If the necessity of a foreign language to b known was mandatory, then the employers would have clearly described it(from whereever ur friend got the information that so and so company is recruiting). But if it was not mentioned then i think it may not matter that much!.If its necessary thenu can say that u can learn it!

    bye
