    Lightbulb Hi....

Hi, I am Kalayama(Of course that ain't my true name Too easy to my find my true name too ) I am from Bangalore, The Silicon Valley Of India. I am a software professional working mainly on C++/UNIX. I have worked on Oracle,SQL Sever and Sybase too. (Still have Sybase as backend for some of my C++ codes).

I joined the forum a couple of months back because of a dear friend of mine. Never bothered to stay active untill two days back. Now, somehow I felt interested in the forum and started posting.

The first thing I didn't like about the forum is, there is one small section in our UserCP which takes our field of expertice as input. Could never find an equivalent expertise catogary for C++!!!! (I really love C++)I had to project myself as database Expert!

The first thing I liked about the website is, the way in which it was organized and the look and feel of it. Truely mindblowing.

I am hoping to make some friends here and have fun.

    Cheers,
    Kalayama

    Re: Hi....

He he funny I am not an expert in UNIX either. I can manage things though.

It's a real coincidence. In my first project as professional, I worked on PRO*C and Oracle D2K. It was one hell of a project converting an existing UNIX based system to Windows based syetm. (Never understood the necessity though ) Had to convert Pro*C codes into C++ codes ;-)

Anyways, if you pecific problems/dificulty area in anything I might be able to help ya out

    Let's have fun friend.

    Cheers,
    Kalayama

    Re: Hi....

That you can. Not a problem. But we will use PM to chat. This is a generic forum. We shouldn't discuss personal things. Nor do I want to disclose my identity in public space. (I know I have nothing to loose, but... I don't want to!).

What's you usual working hours by the way? This is late according to my standards

    Re: Hi....

Well, I was just kidding around. If you check my profile my real name is there Why directly give the name is the point.

Of course we can be friends. In fact we already are!
