A Graduate engineer(Computers) working in pharma industry want to switch to ERP

I am an engineering graduate in Computers, started off my career in Pharma Production 9 years ago, have held positions in Quality control and Quality Assurance too. at present working as General Manager (Operations) of this small medicinal formulations manufacturing unit. have had good experience of Hardcore Programming in C/C++ environments....

Can I make a switch to ERP career (functional side) at this juncture? If yes what should be my steps? what kinda training I should be looking at? and which platform (SAP of Oracle)...keeping in mind the domain knowledge I may have gathered during last 10 years.

    Please help

hi,,since u hav a very gud exposure in domain ,,u can try for any one of SAP-PP or MM and oracle supply chain planning, BOM,inventory etc modules. the formal way for getting into erp is seeking a certification, which costs more.
