Presence of Clause

Where and all OCCURS clause cannot be used in a COBOl program. In other words I want to know where the presence of OCCURS clause cannot happen?

Some of the rules of occurs clause are: must be initialized before it can be used using set and perform varying if subject of occurs is defined as external then odo ought to be defined as external object of the occurs depending on (odo) clause cannot be variably located
