Upload bulk data through BDC
Hi,
Please let me know if the bulk data we want to upload in the sap through BDC may be 50000 records whivh method will be better either 'call transaction' or 'session'. if session system automatically comeout from the transaction.after 20 mons then we can upload. Thanks & regards. Sekhar |

hi,
for uploading data more than 50,000 you can use both call transaction or session method but execute it in background because it may take some hrs.....only difference between these two methods is ...in session method...u can upload entries in background and the session will be created and according to ur convienience u can execute the session in SM35 be it error mode/display all mode. But in call transaction u have to be sure to be there till the program successfully executes. |
