with latest updates, you can scan for viruses. Due to viruses, the system gets hanged.

I think you need to format your PC and then verify it .

Re: My System (Win Xp) gets hanged

if u have created a restore point.than restore ur computer on that date..pls always make a resoting point.. if this does not work than try the best suited condition of safe mode..by pressing f5 at the time of booting..if then also it does not work then the solution is repair ur window,,if then also then remove un used software and if after all this it does not work... then my frnd format it,make a data backup of only important files and pls try avoid making back of any .exe software as it may be affected by any virus..and when u will again install it it will create the same prob again... hope ur problem will be removed....

Re: My System (Win Xp) gets hanged

Hi,friend first u have to find out that is it hardware or software problem.try once last known good configuration,if it is like that only do format the system compleately, don't leave partions also. Then also same problem rewind it is hardware problem!
so,check the processor and it's fan.
and also do one go to run type cmd press enter then type CHKDSK that will check ur disk.change to another drive do like this only then bad sectors will fixed.
