Question Application Crash

While defining new recovery scenario , there is one trigger event called "Application Crash". If we select this event & specify Internet Explorer's exe ie. IExplorer.exe & QTPro.exe from running processes to process list, can QTP can handle this if it itself is getting crashed during a test run?
Actually my requirement is if any of the both ie. IExplorer.exe or QTPro.exe are crashed , the test should be terminated with the crash process details. Can I do this through this Application Crash trigger event?
