Why do we display image in button in form like save delete execute in oracle 10g

You may display image or label on a button, that is your choice. In push button properties if you choose the option iconic - yes ,give iconic filename ,then it will display image. Otherwise it will display label. Displaying image on a button is just for visual effect.

Just only for visual effect and to make the interface more user friendly. But at times it looks too messy.
