Hello geek's....
i have a puzzle for you.. and it is...... you have three boxe's named each as APPLE ORANGE and MIXED. the word mixed indicates both apple and orange.. all the three contain fruit's but the thing is it's sure that none are in correct boxe's...i.e acording to their name. now you are allowed to chose only one fruit from any one of the box and you have to name all three boxe's correctly..... how could u do that? Re: Find the correct boxes
It is simple,
I will take one fruit from the box MIXED. If i get apple then the box with the name ORANGE must be mixed and the box 'APPLE' must have oranges. i can apply the same logic if i get orange from the box 'MIXED' Cheers, James

Go to the 1st box, pick a fruit, repeat this few times randomly. If you find the same type of Fruits (E.g:Apple), Name the Box as Apple. Do the same process for the 2nd Box also, in case if you find both fruits in the same box, name it as Mixed.

Simple
![]() Get one from the box named as MIXED. Surely what's inside it is APPLE or ORANGE. Can't be both. If the one you get is an apple the boxes contains fruits as follows. MIXED - Apple ORANGE - both APPLE - Orange If the one you get is an orange MIXED - Orange ORANGE - Apple Apple - both

Re: Find the correct boxes
i keep for assumption -box1=apple
box2=orange box3=mixed so the probability of apple to be in the bpx will be either it will be in mixed box or in orange but surely not in apple box........ same is been followed for the remaning items tooo..... so when i select that apple can be present in the mixed one.... box1=orange box2=mixed box3=apple |

Re: Find the correct boxes
hi friend
as per your question "but the thing is it's sure that none are in correct boxe's...i.e acording to their name" I will name it as fruits (apple orange) both belongs to the group fruits so i will name it as fruits.. Thanks Deepasree |
