plz tell me the procedure to install Informatica software....

Each time i am getting the problem after creation of session..

after creation of workflow...and connecting workflow to session....i am getting an error

message that server not connected.....

And while starting up the services, informatica servet is not starting up...

so pls suggest me the steps from the starting of installation.

so..u try this...
1>see the 'sever name' in "repository server" and the 'server name' in "informatica server" r same or not....

2>have u created a folder which consists of all 7 important files.and r u setting the path?

if not solved yet....let me know...give me the details where r u getting stucking...that will b done 100%....

After Creating your workflow (session). make sure that
@ you have configure the informatica server in workflow designer. with (servername,hostname,INFserver rootpath)
@ check the servername in workflow desinger and INF servername(Informatica server setup) or same.

i am looking for trail version of this software. how can i get?
please provide me solution. first i need to check power center is useful or not for my project on linux plat form.

I also faced the same problem.
Check your setting for informatica server and repository server.
Then go in the informatica workflow manager and assign server to the workflows.
