i am new comer to geek.i know manual testing and also well exposure to QTP & QC and the problem is, i'm not a real-time expert.
i have lot of queries regarding WEB-BASED TESTING & DATABASES.

my question is:

1>> what are the functions to be & not to be tested in any project also with some example?(manual testing question)
2>> how to test the internal,external & broken links in web testing?
3>> at which point metrics are used and when cmmi & iso standards will come into play?
