Re: using Oracle Web Appl 11i Protocol
in oracle apps protocol u will get the buttons and field names in terms of object ids...unless u change the settings to make it record the object names...for that u need to give
record=names.. there are three ways of doing it... |

Re: using Oracle Web Appl 11i Protocol
Hi,
I don't have an experience with Oracle 11i, but from my experience against rich web applications (not pure HTML), I suggest the following: 1. Use Oracle Web Application protocol. It is similar to the HTML protocol, yet with additions designed for Oracle app. I hope you have the license for it. 2. Use LoadRunner built-in correlations rules for oracle, to save to correlation time 3. Record one short flow using different "Web Events Configuration" recording option, in order to assess the benefit and utility of such recording levels. This can later on be a good solution for issues encountered. regards, shlomini |

Re: using Oracle Web Appl 11i Protocol
Hi,
For Oracle 11i applications plz use dual protocol as Oracle NCA and web( HTTP/HTML). and you have to correlate icx_ticket in oder for smooth run of LR for oracle forms and reports. --Prasant |
