Hi srinu,
First you should familiar with sanity testing, then record you sanity testcases using QTP and run each time you have to do sanity check.

Hi Srinu,
I guess you should get familiarized with Functional usage of QTP. Rather than trying to match achieving Manual testing concepts using QTP, I would suggest you download the trial version of QTP from Mercury.com and play around with the tool. Cheers...
