This individual will be responsible for designing microsoft sharepoint portals. Essentially architecting and implementing microsoft sharepoint solutions. He/she will function as a technical consultant, transferring technical information to client and team members, managing project deliverables and developing client relations.

The key traits of the individual that will fulfill this sharepoint role not only include technical aptitude [information architect, developer, or administrator] but also a passion and understanding of information worker concepts including but not limited to enterprise content management and business process management.

The concept of collaboration should be clear and in addition to the “know how” of building web based solutions to facilitate this information sharing. The applications, tools and technologies listed here are vital to the success of this person effective in the role.

It is also expected that this person will have a strong web architecture (server architecture) background, understanding a multi-server application environment.
