Can some one tell me QTP9.2 can be installed on Windows VistA?
Do we need any special addins or SW or patches to install QTP on Vista?

Did some one try running Scripts on New OS(windows Vista) ?
Which MS-Office is compatible on Vista?

as of now there is no news of compatibility with vista from merecury i have tried but it is able to recignise desktop applications not webbase applications

I think both 2003 and 2007 versions of office should run.

Hi, I am trying to record a web based application in QTP9.2, (Windows VISTA). However, the QTP 9.2 is not able to record. When I use SPY, it is showing the Web page as Windows object.

I am using Internet explorer 7.0, Windows Vista, QTP 9.2.

Is there any solution or workaround to this problem?

QTP 9.2 doesen't supports internet explorer 8 beta version 2.

So move on to qtp 10 ,that's t only solution.....

If u try in ie 8 with qtp 9.2 it will definetely crash....

Ie 8 is coded to support qtp 10 only....
