    copy objects from repository

    Hi

I have two shared object repositories in QTP 8.2.
I want to copy objects from one repository to another.
Is there any tool which can be used for this

The only option in QTP8.2 to copy objects from one shared repository to other is merging. By merging two shared repositories we can do that.

To merge repositories first we need to install QTP utilities software. then we can find out the merge tool.

Hi, one of the major difference between qtp 8.2 and later versions of qtp sat qtp 9.2 is basically better object repositry managment. In qtp 9.1 it has built object repositry merge tool which can be accessed from tools --> object repositry manager and then from this interface use tools -- object repositry merge tool by cps
