This is a discussion on Kindly provide the Reason within the ASP.NET forums, part of the Web Development category; In ASP application one of my friend told me that it is good to avoid use of server variables. Is this true? If so why is it so?...

yes....its good to avoid server variables .B'coz , if we use server variables every time for all the events it has to go to server ,so load on the server increases.
so ,its better to use the client side controls.
