Load 3 flat file in single shot

This is a discussion on Load 3 flat file in single shot within the Data Warehousing forums, part of the Databases category; I have three flat file source and i want to process (ie load them) in single shot i.e., not one by one. How I can achieve this?...

Load 3 flat file in single shot

I have three flat file source and i want to process (ie load them) in single shot i.e., not one by one. How I can achieve this?

Good Question *Ramesh* -

This is very simple when your three Source flat files are under same location.

Keep all the three files in a directory first.

then Goto -> session properties -> Mappings tab ---> select Sources
In Source properties, under File Reader tab -> Provide the path of the file containing the path of 3 files.

Your loading completes.

If these three files are located at different places (Directories) - This will not solve.
