As i Always say to become a good Test engineer one must have knowledge of their domain. there is no limit in terms of knowledge and learning.

But yes you should posses some sort of knowledge as this will help you understanding the application faster and better.

if a tester knows the Business well then his testing and approach towards the application is better and he/she finds more issues related to the business scenario.
