Re: How to automate " Image verification" in QTP?
We can do a verification of image by using Bitmap CheckPoint.
But the attachment which is a random display if you want to grab the text.. its not possible... will look into this and if i find any solution will let you know... expect the same from you... ![]() Thanks, Kunal. |

Re: How to automate " Image verification" in QTP?
Actually we can't automate"image verification", if we can do that, then image verification becomes meaningless.
As a tester we can take help of developers to make some code fix for the purpose of script to automate and later that can be fixed when testing complete.

Re: How to automate " Image verification" in QTP?
I agree with jainbrijesh...
![]() This is also possible during Unit Testing. The code logic behind such image verification is that... there are a list of images stored in a db table with the appropriate text. Say 2 columns of the table Image & Text, and the records would be the address or image file and the text that appears on it. Eg. D:\proj1\images\img1.jpg for Image column and say "xjve" for Text column. ![]() During Testing... the text entered by the user should be verified with the text in Text column on the db table that is associated with the respective image.
