In QTP we have option to convert our object repository (.tsr) file to XML file.
The main usage of XML file is, it will compress the size of the .tsr file.Say if u have 5 MB size of .tsr file and u exported ur .tsr file to .xml then it will compress the size to some KB. In QTP 8.2 version we don't have option to import and export xml file.We have to install add-ins to use the conversion tool.Now Mercury is providing this option with the QTP package itself.
