Solutions:

1) See the answer in the doc.

2) One more soultion is there, but thats not the exact solution.
First group all the match stick and burn it. Then all the sticks will be arranged as per ur condition.


By using these solutions any number of match sticks can be arranged.

I think simple answer is to arrange them in star shape where one end of each stick meet at the center of the star so that they will touch other 6 sticks

See, the answer depends upon how we view the match stick ends... if we are treating them as line segments, then definitely STAR shape would give the solution. For 3D, make a Bonfire structure .. out of the matchsticks... 2) take one matchstick as base another as perpendicular, and rest as hypotenuse.....

hey, take one stick in perpendicular position, put it in the center and at sides take 2 sticks in v shape one over the other and put the opening on the center, do the same on the remaining 4 sticks
