1. What time we will use oracle as a back-end?

For example,I have a project called "Hospital Management".
You are all know that we have to maintain patients records(nearly 3 lakhs)into DB.

For the above scenario, which database i have to use in my project?

or is there data storage limit for data base like MS-access, sql server,oracle ?

or when will i use MS-ACCESS?

How to choose the database for my project?

so far as data storage limit is concerned if you are using oracle 10g ,the database size can be upto 8 million terabytes.

so size is not an issue for any database. untill, unless it is too huge.

again choosing the database depends on the frontend application u are using to develop the project.

for example

if u are using java go for Oracle .
if u are using .net go for sql server .
