What exactly you want to ask?? If something specific please tell. Basically Solaris 9 provides many things which 8 doesn't have like RBAC & SVM (in 8 there is Solstice Disk Suite).

Solaris 10 have lot of new features than solaris 9,
**1. SMF ( Service Management Facility)
2. Zones
3. ZFS (Zettabyte File System)
4. Brand Zones
5. Multi Terabyte file system (16 TB - max)
