Want to learn more about iboot

What is meant by iboot? I know that it the technology means booting the system without hard disk. But how does this happen can someone brief me on this

iboot is the technology of booting without hard disk and the founder of this is IBM. One of the way of doing this is by using iSCSI Ethernet protocol, in which the system without hard disks are connected to the server and the booting takes place through the server.
