Global Query in Coldfusion

I am aware of ASP.NET and I recently started learning coldfusion. In ASP we have something called as "Global.asa" that executes whenever an ASP page is called. Is there something like that in coldfusion. If so let me know about this.

Yes you have "application.cfm" in coldfusion which is the same concept as "global.asa" in ASP. Coldfusion always checks for the existence of "application.cfm" and executes it first.
