Unix How can i know details about the processes running in Unix and what is the use of fork command in Unix.

Re: Unix you also can do a top to see what process is taking up the most CPU usage. also ps -aef |grep (PID) to find the process..

Re: Unix PS always required before you kill the process, so it is a very important command in Unix. Ex- kill ' process ID'
