I am a silent member of this group. I am working as QA analyst for one of the companies in USA. My project is entirely new to me. And my question is,
I am trying to retreive data from the screen to the excel sheet but in the screen there are static objects for which i am not able to use "Output Value" check point.

The error QTP gives is "CANNOT IDENTIFY OBJECT OF CLASS STATIC" . I dont know what should i do. I am trying to fix this but i could not at last I thought someone may help me fixing this. So i am here.

You can get the values from the screen thru GetRoProperties and you can pass the values to excel ..

I did that too but no use.
If you have any idea abt these types of classes just let me know so that i can work on that.

i even tried inserting getroproperty in the script but whats happening is i used for loop and for the first iteration it is working fine and for the second iteration qtp gives me error saying "cannot identify object of class static". Any help is greatly appreciated.
