After you install QTP 9.2, open the test cases of QTP 8.0 and try to run them. If you are able to open the test cases, then the data grids will automatically follow.

If the data is in data sheet attached inside script then better you export it to excel files.
Then try opening the script in QTP 9.0 or above versions. So that ur data will be retained back. Arun*
