I searched in google but it gave a long list. The reason why I posted this question here in this discussin is if someone who has got a good book could refer it here it would be useful for others like me.

Yes if you search the google a lot many books comes. but i am giving some name of the books that may be helpful to you. if you wants certification in oracle 9i then you should read oracle press books written by rama velpuri for backup and recovery , charles a pack for PT. A good book on 10g is written by Allapati. After all Oracle University blocks are very useful. and go for some sites like asktom , orafaq whis are very useful.

norman thanks for such a useful posts and friends thanks for such great useful replies.I could get a complete idea of the books and even got Scott Urman book on oracle 9i and started my reading on that. It's a great book as suggested by Dimple.
