In an Informatica 8.1.1 lookup transfromation we are unable to select (check) Recache from Lookup Source even when Lookup Caching is enabled.

Recache from Lookup Source can be selected only when "Lookup cache Persistent" is checked but this option is not desired.

I have checked the site and latest Service Pack documentation to see if this has been identified as an issue, to no avail.

Any and all help appreciated

We can recache only if we have choosen persistent cache.defition of recache it self is to reconfigure the persistent cache if it is not consistent with look up table.
so you must have to check first persistent cache.

As sharma told, we can able to 'Recache from Lookup Source', if we check the "Lookup cache Persistent" option in the look up properties.
