We are not able to identify individual fields
We have an application in power builder and we are creating an automation pack for it in winrunner. The problem we are facing :
-We are not able to identify individual fields through winrunner; it is identifying the whole window as a table (DW table) object, and to get a displayed data value we had to specify the row and column of the table so that we can capture the required data. -As we are not always sure under which column these modified data should be displayed - specifying the cell location is not a solution Instead we need a solution to capture all the displayed data corresponding to each column or label on a PowerBuilder window, So that if we specify through input sheet -- against which column we need to verify the data - winrunner will be able to verify Please Note: We have already tried with GUI checklist option, but this is not going to serve the purpose as GUI check list is getting all the data values mapped to field on a PowerBuilder window not the Displayed values For example - for a Country field if "India" is display value and "IN" is data value Winrunner is taking "IN" when we provide a GUI checkpoint for country field. Please help us regarding this? Thanks in advance..... |
