In Linux I want to get the report or output about physical memory usage, virtual memory statistics and also disk activity, Central processing unit activity, system usage all in one command. Is it possible if so what is the command for that?

Yes there is a command which I am aware of namely vmstat command.
Using vmstat command the activities like process utility, memory usage, swap space, system interrupts and so on can be got in one command. But I wanted to know is there any other command other than these to achieve the same purpose.

vmstat command gives report or statistics about virtual memory usage. In other words vmstat command gives statistics or report about processes, memory, paging, cpu activity and so on.

There is one more command called as top command which gives report about gives listing of tasks based on CPU usage, memory usage and runtime.

There is yet another command called iostat the report of which is used for balancing input output load between physical disks.

But I think there is yet lot of commands in Linux. Hope we get more in this discussion
