How many types of java progamming languages are present?
What is the different between java, j2ee, java standard edition, java enterprise edition? What are the application?

Java Standard Edition(J2SE) comprise of the core java such as swing,AWt etc which is used to develop desktop-based applications.
Java Enterprise Edition(J2EE) comprise of the adavced things like JDBC, Servlets, JSP,EJB etc which is used to develop server-based applications.
Java Micro Edition(J2ME) comprise of even newer things which is used to develop handheld & embedded devices for eg. java games in our mobile phones are the outcome of J2ME technology.
