You should do certification in automated tools.

Most popular tools are mercury tools and rational tools.

I think its too early to go for certification. For any certification its better to have a real time project experience on that tool on which the individual would like to go for certification. Its better you go for certification kike CSTE/CSQA/ISTQB...etc. In fact an individual not eligible for these until he has 3+ yrs of experience. Don't be panic concentrate on present responsibilities, work offline to gain knowledge on Tools try to grab an opportunity to work on Tool then decide. The time passes then you will be in a position that what you should do? :-)
