iam rud . iam a junior qa in a company. i need to know what is the differnce and enhancement in version of winrunner 7.0,7.4,7.6,8.0 and 8.2 ?
can anyone please give me a detailed explaination on this , i will be thankful to you.

I have given below the available dates of each version:
Version 8.2 became available Aug 15, 2005.
Version 8.0 became available Jan 2005, but was not very stable.
Version 7.6 is a point release available Jan 2004.
Version 7.0 was made available on March, 2001.

other than the dates of the winrunner release, functionality or features wise how the different versions of winrunner are different??
I have got some information from net:
Latest Winrunner 9.2 is out recently in market. But most of features are same like WR 8.2 WR 9.2 supports IE 7.0, etc.
WinRunner 8.2 supports Internet Explorer 5.5 to 6.0 SP1 and Netscape Navigator 6.1-6.23, 7.01, 7.02, 7.1 and 7.2.
