My company now only hires new recruits from reputed B-schools with proper certifications. They were assigned the same task I do and they did it better than me. I fear I will lose out on promotions and pay hikes soon. Is there a way out?

I'm assuming by the wording of your question that you're in IT is some capacity.
I'd like to suggest you don't want 'a way out' you want 'a way forward'. Always try to focus on moving forward (or at least staying current). You're going to spend 10-20% of your time either getting certifications, or upgrading them, for the rest of your career. This is life in the technological world.
