I would like to know the installation of Linux Advanced server on a USB hard drive?

Yes. You can do it. You can install Linux on USB. The one OS I use Ubuntu linux can be installed in a flash drive. (Even the other flavours of Linux too should be able to do it).

Thanks Kalayama.. I am going to try tonight on my 2 GB USB pen drive ...

How do we access internet .. is there any configuration needs to be done ...

Nothing. If you are connecting from home, then there is no proxy setting. In any case whatever the configuration you use for windows. Same will be applicable here. If no proxy servers, it will automatically connect to net.

Make sure you change your boot sequence accordingly. (USB as your first boot device), once you install Ubuntu in PPen drive.
