Hi friends
my friend is doing a course in s/w testing. He asked me to suggest some books,so iam asking you all.He wanted to know some good books in software testing that will help him improve his knowledge. Please tell me the book names and the authors name or publication.(if u know the approx cost, its much better) PLEASE DONOT GIVE ANY WEBSITE LINK, since he doesnot surf regularly  .Bye

Software Engineering by Pressman will give him a general idea of how testing fits in the software lifecycle
After which he can refer books like Lessons learned in Software Testing
